Based on a recent press statement from Excellent Pictures, the Ahmad Idham directed "Hantu Bonceng" which opened on the second day of Raya coinciding with Merdeka, managed to match that of "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" as it raked up ticket sales totalling up to almost 95 percent at various locations such as Mesra Mall, Kerteh and Tebrau City, Johor Bahru as well as a number of other nationwide locations including Singapore and Brunei.
